Membership of ASIS New Zealand


ASIS New Zealand is part of ASIS Region 39 which also includes the South Pacific and Papua New Guinea. There are over 90 members of ASIS International in New Zealand, most of whom are financial members of the Chapter.

The annual Chapter membership fee is only NZ$60 + GST. Membership is for the calendar year and expires 31st December each year.

The benefits of Chapter membership include: networking opportunities; access to the member only pages on this website; access to resources; member discounts; and the list goes on!

The New Zealand Chapter welcomes applications for membership from security professionals nationwide. However, before joining ASIS NZ you must be a member of ASIS International. If you wish to join ASIS International please visit the ASIS International Membership page.

The application process...

STEP 1: 

Check that your ASIS International membership is up to date. It is a requirement to be an ASIS International member before you can join the local chapter. 

STEP 2: 

Complete the registration form which is contained in the above link. This needs to be completed each year to ensure member details are up to date. We want to ensure that members contact details are current and that we don’t send you unwanted correspondence. 



Once the registration is received (and ASIS International membership is confirmed) you will receive an invoice for your chapter membership from the Chapter Treasurer.


STEP 4: 

Once payment has been confirmed you will receive your Welcome Pack. This will confirm your membership to the chapter and will have your access details to the member only pages to this website.  Please read and follow the login instructions to access the members only section of the Chapter website. (Please note that if you are not joining for the first time, and are renewing your Chapter membership your access to the website is reset each year once your annual membership has been confirmed).

At the bottom of the Welcome Pack email you will be invited to click on a link for your Chapter Membership Certificate. For those you seek re-certification points this will be useful evidence.

Your details will feature in the chapter directory listed in the members only section of the ASIS New Zealand website once you are a confirmed financial chapter member.
