About ASIS New Zealand

ASIS New Zealand is part of ASIS Region 15A which also includes the South Pacific. There are over 130 members of ASIS International in New Zealand.

The Chapter actively promotes the certification of security professionals through the Associate Protection Professional (APP) Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP) and Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) programmes. To find out more about the certifications available through ASIS International click here.

ASIS International, with more than 34,000 members worldwide, is the pre-eminent international organisation for professionals responsible for security, including managers and directors of security. In addition, corporate executives and other management personnel, as well as consultants, architects, lawyers, and police officers, are becoming involved with ASIS to better understand the constant changes in security issues and solutions.

ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security practices by developing educational programmes and materials that address broad security concerns, such as the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits, as well as specific security topics. By providing members and the security community with access to a full range of programmes and services, and by publishing the only monthly magazine focused strictly on the issues and concerns of security, Security Management, ASIS leads the way for advanced and improved security performance.

Note: ASIS New Zealand members have full access to the members only section. To become an ASIS New Zealand member you must be a current ASIS International member.
